We have just added a new item to our on the go cooking arsenal, the “Fasta Pasta“.  This is a great device for cooking up pasta in the microwave.  It saves the hassle of hauling out pots and pans and is super easy to clean up.  Our first batch of pasta came out great.  

I forgot some of my other favorite items in my first article

• OXO silicone drying mat- I do not use this for drying dishes but instead use it is a hot pad.  It is 16×12 inches and is the best hot pad I have ever used for putting hot dishes on.  It is so good I bought a second one for home.  The other great thing about this is it can be rolled up and put away- no worrying about breaking and very light.
• My personal microwave egg maker- I love having eggs with my breakfast and this is a super easy way to cook up an egg for one person in less than one minute.
